Work-Online is a fantastic website where YOU TYPE and WE PAY. Signing up couldn't be easier and its completely free. We only need basic information, you will need to choose a username and password, enter your email address and finally your date of birth. To complete the sign up process we will send you a validation email, once you have clicked through the link in the email you can sign in and start earning money straight away.

To start writing stories go to your account page and from the list of story groups available choose a group. When you have chosen a group click accept and the group of stories is now yours to complete in your own time in the order of your choice. As long as there are story groups available you can complete as many groups as you wish, there are no limits to how many stories you have to complete a month, but you will need to complete each story group before accepting a new group.

Each story can earn you between 5p and £1.50, a story is priced depending on how many words are required, the more money the story can earn you the more words required.  For example writing a story requiring 25 words for completion could earn you 5p whereas writing a story needing 400 words could earn you 75p.

Every story will have its own topic and will need to contain a certain amount of relevant keywords, i.e. the story topic is building and has 4 different keywords, each keyword will need to be included in your story the amount of times given. Your story must be about the topic, make sense and have a good level of English grammar.  Your stories must be completely your own work, any Work-Online member found to be copy writing material from other websites will be in breach of our terms and conditions, this will not be tolerated and you could risk the possibility of your account being banned.

To make things easier for you the keywords and amount of words required will automatically count down as you type, and we have also included a spell checker on the page, any story submitted for moderation with more than three spelling mistakes will be declined and sent back to your account page for you to make the necessary amendments.

When you have completed your story and you're happy it contains all the required elements, click submit and your story will be moderated, it will then be accepted or declined. If your story is declined the moderator will enter a reason for this and the story will be sent back to your account page, you will then be able to click on your declined story, see the reason why it was declined, make the necessary amendments and re-submit your story for moderation.

Once all the stories from your chosen group have been accepted by our moderators, the total amount earned from this group will be added to your account balance. Your account balance can be viewed on the My Account page along with all the information relating to how many stories you have written, how many have been accepted or rejected and how much in total you have earned since you became a member.

The My Account page is also where you will request the transfer of your money. Once your account balance reaches £10.00 the “Transfer Money” button will become available for you to click and request your funds . You will be paid the full amount in your account balance, we will not take a percentage neither will we request any money in return, what you earn is what you get!.

Work-Online is a UK based company and although we accept international members we cannot send payment via cheque to anyone outside of the UK, all international members are required to have a valid PayPal account, we do not use any other online payment system. All requests from members outside of the UK asking to receive their payment via cheque will unfortunately be declined.

There is also another way to earn money with Work-Online via our referral system. As a member of Work-Online you will be given your own unique referral code which can be found on the My Account page. For every member that enters your referral code during their sign up process you will receive the equivalent of 10% of their earnings for the first 50 stories they write. The more members you refer the more money you earn.
